28th May 2009.
Kalau ikutkan actually this week baru nak balik from geneva, but alhamdulilah, was cut short thanks to the swine flu that hit the world.
the evening when i was leaving, i promised myself, no drama no drama! tlngla jgn kecoh kecoh, and even chanted plsLa jgn nangis. i actually took a day off, just to feed,hug, basuh his berak and pretty much spend time with ashraff...
as i was about to leave. i asked bibik to pass him to me, although he was sleeping, hugged him for the last time, and automatically had that thick thing stuck in my throat. followed by that sting in one eye, then the other eye and before i knew it, both me and my mama was crying..aish...( i think even bibik cried seeing the situation)..aiyooooo...ashraff just kept sleeping (he was really tired because i played with him till he missed his evening nap.. hehehe)..all he did was turn his head, gave a very loose smile and breath out heavily...( " ,)
i left my last baju i wore, ironically my WHO-Uno collared t-Shirt i bought when i attended the same meeting last year. good thing i did so. ada oneNite, ma was telling me he couldnt sleep so they put that t-shirt under him, and he slept instantly....
i pulak, brought his last baju he wore the evening i left...the nites was the worst..i would miss terribly, so guess wht i did, i found a small pillow in my hotel, placed in on my chest with his tiny shirt, and like him, slept instantly...
during the meeting and the hustle and bustle handling the delegation, it wasnt so bad...in fact there were times i even forgotten about him.
its just when i see a child, a boy in specific, automatically iLL get that thickThing in my throat, sting in my eye experience all over again.
moral of the story :
(i) mother's instict is something that is in you, no matter how sempoi,tough, tomBoi'ish u r at heart;
(ii)do not under-estimate the power of scent; and
(iii)susah susah, lain kali angkut skali ( " ,).
ha ha hah a
really is good to be back peeps!!
